Norton ‘Garden Gate’ Manx Boek

Van Nederlandse bodem is er nu hét boek over de ‘Garden Gate’ Manx! Getiteld: Garden Gate Manx, the book about my bike. Dit boek is door ingenieur en 3D artiest Niels Schoen volledig zelf gemaakt. Van zijn oom heeft hij de betreffende motor georven en deze vervolgens in Solidworks tot in het kleinste detail uitgewerkt. Met zijn achtergrond in vliegtuig en onderzeeër bouwkunde is dit dus eigenlijk een boek geworden waarmee je zo’n Manx dus gewoon in elkaar zou kunnen zetten of bouwen. En dat van een motorfiets waar bijna geen documentatie van bestaat. Elk onderdeel is tot op de honderdste millimeter berekend, getekend en uitgewerkt met alle technische data die daarbij hoort. Een 164 pagina’s dik boek van ongekende drukkwaliteit, met een prachtige stofhoes. Een pracht om te zien.
